I have worked in painted media for over two decades. I enjoy working large and working in oil paint, I never could stand acrylics. My fascination with machines and their inner workings goes way back to a view I had of a broken dishwasher. The slick outer veneer hides a pile of chaotic tubes, wires, and mysterious parts, much like the amazing workings beneath our own skin. I love to explore form, color, and movement as I render these mechanical, yet organic scenes. Each one is based on an actual machine, gizmo or scene, never contrived.

This page includes some of the digital work I have done. My first Amiga computer in 1987 got me going into a whole new world of animation and imagery. Now digital art has gone in the direction of video games, and I still prefer to paint!
